Bears Matches

We hold our monthly matches on the third Sunday of the month at the private Fort Angeles Range in the Angeles Ranges Shooting complex. This is just across the street from Moore-N-Moore Sporting Clays. Sign-ins start 7:00 am and first round heads downrange at about 8:15 am, and we typically finish a bit after 10 am. Drop us an email at secretary@goldenbears.org if you want more information or would like to attend.  Members pay only $20 for matches with non-members paying $25. Juniors shoot for free.

Club meetings are held after the matches. We also hold the Harker Memorial Match in honor of the club's founder in the Fall.

Other Matches

Ojai Valley Gun Club - First Sundays of the month.  Full distance Across the Course (XTC) matches or Midrange (3x600) matches.  Other matches and activities include CMP clinics. Check website for full calendar and details.

Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club - On the second Saturday of the month - full distance Across the Course (XTC) matches. On the third Saturday and other days throughout the year - Midrange (600 yard) and Long range (1000 yard) matches.  Check event calendar for details and sign-ups.

Los Angeles Silhouette Club - If you want to improve your offhand shooting, silhouette shooting is a great way to get it done.  Unlike Highpower, you don't use a coat, so you'll be able to focus on building a properly supported position.  Smallbore and centerfire options are available.  Check out their website for details.
